"The big thing was that it saved us a lot of legwork on site,” he says. “Instead of us breaking down typically 20 or 30 palettes of product then making of 10 trips down the hallways to drop everything off, we were able to do that instead in about two or three trips because most everything had been consolidated for us.”
"It’s a one-stop shop,” Demers says of the Gaults Room in a Box service. Though Sundial is just in its second year, having opened in December 2003, David Demers had been familiar with Gaults through his previous work with a management company. When the time came to outfit the 49-room Sundial, he knew where to turn. It made the task of stocking the hotel’s 27 single and 22 double rooms that much easier. “If I had to go to each independent place, it would be difficult,” he says. “[Gaults] packaged it all up and boxed it all up by room number.” That meant a lot fewer trips to each room, he says, and a shorter set-up time.
